Yeah agreed with those points for the ps3, that, and sitting in the recliner with a 46" Bravia screen 'n' surround sound are a goer (don't have room for that kind of setup in the study)

Fallout3 was awsum but too short (didn't get into the DLC, too much $$) MP would be awsum however would kill the VATS system i'd presume 'n' the aiming was rubbish without it in F3.

I never really liked Vats...nah, I stuck with a sniper or bashing my enemies heads in with a sledgy.

Then you'll REALLY like the VATS in Vegas, remember reading somewhere you get special finishing moves whilst using melee weapons during VATS, dismemberment FTW!

whoa! what?! you don;t like vats??!!!!! vats is the SHIT! and the special weapons in that game are where its at. Lincolns repeater, now that thing is a beauty. and the samurai sword is the best melee in the game(both according to me and the stats) bethesda knows how to make a video game.

Well also Vats made it to dammn easy to kill people. Nothing quite like taking on a base of brotherhood outcasts or enclaves with nothing but a shiskebob. God I loved that thing. Samurai sword was quite nice, but I still prefer my Shiskebob. Pyromaniac + Shiskebob = 1 hit ko.

I just love vats fot the cinamatic reasons. IT looks frack awesome when you head shot someone with a rifle all slow mo and shit.
i got the pyro perk as well. I love using the heavy incinerator on like 5 enclave. no vats, just spray those giant fireballs all over em and watch them run around on fire. hahaha. Did you guys get the special pre-war power armor? that shit is sweet. I'll have to take some snap shots of my megaton home. I have saved all the pre-war money I found and I put it everywhere in my house. There is wads a cash covering every shelf. hahaha. I'm a wasteland balla! hay hay yall

Never ended up gettin a Samu sword i don't think, had some small chainsaw type knife thing though that was a spot of fun, and if you think it was too easy with vats, did you play the game on the hardest setting? Try starting the game on it 'n' seeing how long your ammo lasts!

Whens this game gunna come out anyways, i'm gettin bloody excited now 'n' have holidays (yet again) starting next week

F:NV is basically a new version of fallout 3, so it should have a 1st person mode as an option as well.

I'm honestly not sure if I should pick this game up, it's basically F3 in a different setting with some small tweaks. On the other hand I liked F3 a lot.

It IS a first person is it not? you had the option to use third person in F3 but was pretty shite.

I borrowed F3 so definatly going to own this, even if it is a different setting it's still going to be mad! I presume the skills are going to be (predominatly) all different

The E3 demo is completely different then F3, while Vats miiight be similar, the sheer difference in weapons is going to be amazing. Not only can you create your own weapons, you can have a lot of attachements on them. Hardcore mode = awesome.

Yeah you can get dehydrated 'n' your ammo actually counts as weight, healing packs work slowly = epic journey

This'll be out my end of town really bloody shortly, yet another distraction from MAG, faaa me it's bloody hard work gettin to level 70, the distance from lvl 60 to 61 is like 8000 exp! LAME

Yeah, idk if they changed the exp system or what, but seems like I never level on MAG anymore. To bad I spent all my money on Demons Souls though...woulda been nice to pick up FNV2, or at least spend money on something that isnt completely shite.

Yeah, graphics on F3 were shit...humans werent bad, but the equipment was the best in the game. That and Oasis, which is pretty well mandatory.

Kinda wish they had vehicles though. One of the shitties things I ever had to do was trek from Vault 101 to frack Rivet city or whatever the hell that thing was called.

You could have teleported to a waypoint. The only time you can't teleport is when there are enemies abound or you haven't been there yet.

....that just crushed me. Ive never heard of teleporting...
