Conflict Resolution/wtf is with the Raven Alliance

I was humbely requesting that people that in any way are affiliated with Raven Alliance to try and get on tomorrow so we can have a big group to synch with. Rockstardom started flipping his lid about thr raven alliance not being th same as it used to etc etc and that q synching through chat is a waiste of time and that certain people have been getting a rise out of the fact that people fight under the alliance in vain because the people in the "official" alliance are against us? wtf? I was under the impression that the Raven Alliance was a loose organization for Raven clans to be able to q synch and show support for one another. what planet am I living on?! this was a pinnacle moment in my hope of all the good raven clans being homies. If someone would be able to maybe explain the politics of the top Raven clans I would appreciate it. I feel like I was attacked way out of left field by just trying to sound the battle horns of raven for tomorrow. *sigh

First off, Rockstar started the Raven Alliance. Back in the day we would Q-sync with them using the Ventrilo server he set up.

The alliance got too big too fast and then there was a collapse, MAG's dwindling numbers didn't help matters. Eventually people started going there separate way's. Again not helped by the advent of the Supergroup glitch. Now players didn't need to sync through the server, they could role with 2 groups in every game they played without fail. Thus the Alliance fell from grace.

I'm sure bringing it up has most likely brought back fond memories of a by gone era and he hates you for it.

Then again there were reports of rock going a bit weird and falling out with some of his top guys.

I'm really not trying to have a big ego about this. I genuinely was just trying to spread the word so we could have a good time tomorrow and that guy just blew up at me saying that I have nothing to do with the alliance. I guess I wasn't aware that it was so official and I had to get permission to invite people to play

Yer I have to admit rock has been being a bit of a dick in that thread he has no real right now to make judegment on how we work considering he won't even come back and play Raven because he decided we all sucked based on agame with randoms. He's just being stupid and daft now and he seems very intent on blaming clan leaders for the demise? which isn't quite how I rememberd it

Yea, I wasn't trying to be rude. I just felt I had to retaliate a bit. I think it's so undeserving to attack someone for shit they didn't do. It would be similar if arby was like "hey vash lets go play a dom match" and i said "You dumb ass noob arby, dom is for pussies, its you guys who ruined dom. back in the day dom was the shit bla bla bla" all the while arby is thinking to himself wtf? i was just trying to play mag with some homies. all well, im over that shit. Yer I told him how we all viewed this because really he's just holding on to something thats no longer there and won't except that we've moved on. He lacks in power now he USED! to be the leader of the raven Alliance but I don't know who will follow him now especially with torn relationships between clans right now

Although the funniest thing i've seen on MAG was Arby in a turret (Nothing new there) and asked Krak (i'm sure it was him) to turn around (Krak was about 20metres infront of the turret).
Arby - "Krak are you looking at the Turret?"
Krak - "Yeah"
Arby - "you looking directly at the turret?"
Krak -"Yeah"
Then Arby opened fire into Kraks face & team killed him.....lol... Genius!!!!

DOA has been part of th raven alliance for a good long time.

We are even part of rockstars alliance also. Actually we are one of the few remaining on his websie that still have forums.

Rock does get little "weird" at times but I've have always been able to talk to him.

I have cleared things up with rockster. he just wasn't aware of my credentials I understand from his point of view how it came across as me being some noob acting like I run the alliance. I was just pretty sure DOA was one of the few left in it. all is well. To all of you I apologize for causing so much silly internet grief over nonsense. See you all tomorrow for the DOA fest 010'!
