----Clan Wars-----

I have been thinking about clan battles a lot lately. With them coming soon I would like to discuss how this will effect our clan.

Are we going to participate in clan wars? Yes we are!
What modes do you plan on using? Interdiction as well as sabo and maybe a bit of suppression. I would like to get a few acq games as well but that will be determined upon release of the patch.
Will we have set days and times for these matches? Not to sure on this one as we don't know the inter workings of the battles as of yet. I'm sure some of the Raven clans will like to set up dates for larger scale battles.
Who will we battle? Every clan we can sucker into a battle with us.
Why do you say sucker? Well for the mere fact we are some real beasts in this game. Plus our teamwork is second to none.
Will the newer members of our clan be able to participate in the battles? I would have to say no to this one. They need to learn our movements and strategies first and prove themselves in regular games before they can join in.
Are you going to restructure the officers when this comes out? Yes, I will be demoting a lot of our officers as I don't want just anyone to start or accept a battle invite. This will be discussed at a later point in time.
Are there any clans you don't wish to battle? No we will battle them all.
Do you have a group load out for these battles? I will try to make a balanced spread of our men. That way we don't have one squad with too many medics or snipers.
Will you change the way we add members to the clan? Yes, they will have to prove themselves worthy to be in DOA. I am going to start a thread of new comers to the clan and all officers who recruit a newbe will have to place the newbies PSN name in it and why they think they are right for DOA. A discussion will then occur as we play with each of them. This topic will not be seen by everyone as we don't want to hurt someones feelings. A new group will be added to the forums and if your an officer in DOA you will be added to the list. I might add non officers to this list but that will be determined later.
So your saying that only people who join the forums will be officers? Yes you are correct
What if I'm a great recruiter but not part of the forums, can I still be an officer? No, you will have to give out our www.com and have the player you want to join put in an application.
Well what happens when they don't want to put an app up but, still want to join us? You could try to convince an officer to invite him.
Are you going to add more rules to the clan? Actually we have several rules here they are just not in writing. Yes there will be more rules and LAWs of DOA.
Do we have any say to these new rules and LAWs? Only if you partake in the forums as I like to know how you all feel about implementing these. This is why we have forums.

I like it, but would prefer we have some dom or aqc mixed into this too, for those people who don't have interdiction, cause not everyone will. I don't know much about what loadouts a lot of people use, but I know that i've only known Alex and Vash to use snipers since i've joined DOA. We should spread that out cause we have medics and drivers and gunners but not snipers, which we should have to support our group.

I think I mentioned this before too, but we need some sort of training camp for new recruits who want to get the DOA experience and learn the ropes. A couple of our officers should take out the new guy and just see how he does and what his style is before he even starts to join our clan in battles.

Another idea. Make up squads that are specifically for clan battles, set a date for the battle and then if everyone gets on, we put people in those squads depending on their strengths/weaknesses. ex. Dead, Alex, Vash, Melov, Racingfan, Mceinstein, Slimm_45, Slyness etc.

If they don't have 10 bucks to spend on interdiction then they won't get in these games. So go out and get 10 bucks and buy it already. We only have 160+ members and it would be hard to get them online at the same time. Dom = 126 players per clan

word, im really getting excited for clan wars. HOORAH! I'm pretty sure Alex and I always have a hm90 loadout for counter sniping. If i see a sniper shooting at me I generally start hoofin it his direction to go stab in the face. If there are multiple snipers I will switch to the old HM90 to get the suckers out of there. I am ready to play as much clan wars as humanly possible. I have been practicing my ass off and I am ready to help show the MAG universe that we ARE the BEST clan, with the highest level of training.

Mmm, well Yesh I can def see your point then. For some people though it's not about having the money, it's about having the means to transfer the money. People without a credit card are basically hopeless as I understand. Or minors whose parents don't want to buy stuff like that. Just saying.

it's understandable. I'll tell you what though, parents always appreciate when their children show responsibility and thinking things through. I bet if you prepared a decent argument that you could persuade them to drop $9.99 for you.1. Let them understand that it is important to you. 2. find a way to make it seem they are getting something out of it too. 3. during your presentation offer a means of paying them back or working it off. Doing all of these will make them understand that it is something to take seriously. example: "Mom, Dad, because I do not have a credit card I can not pay the 10 dollars to get the necessary expansion on my favorite online team work skill enhancement video game. I would like to offer you work around the house in exchange of $9.99 of your debit card." I'm sure something like that would have to work. Put it into perspective for them. let them know the ps network will only charge there card once and there is no recurring fees. It's equivalent to buying two coffes from starbucks. Your parents are sure to not be hurt by 10 bux. especially if they are getting 10 cars washed or whatever deal you make with them. Do it homie! we gotsta have everyone on DOA with interdiction. you are missing out.

Hey if a kids parents drops 60 bucks on a game i am sure that said parent can drop 20 bucks for a PSN card from Walmart or Gamestop. As far as that goes the kid can trade in a game or 2 he doesnt play anymore at the local Gamestop and get a psn card that way. This way u dont need a credit card or debit card and its much easier to just type in a code than to go through setting up to use a CC or debit everytime you need or want to make a purchase.

This has gotten a bit off topic but you can always find a friend online to share his account with you so you can DL the content. Your friend can always change his password later or even before they share it.
A trick so you don't have to add another account to your system is to change your e-mail addy and password to his Download it then change it back to your original account after. The info will be on your HHD so you can play the mode.

I guess we don't need this anymore as clan wars was canceled by Zipper for lack of player numbers.
