Actually I have heard of Rum & Pepsi. I'm pretty sure it was petty much exactly the same. I've been drinking Pepsi for so long now that I can't even remember why I started instead of Coke. But I do like Pepsi's ads better.

Lol. Pepsi Is A Bad Chaser To Use With Alcohol. Here's What I Mean. Put Rum In A Pepsi Bottle Than Close The Top Tightly. You Will Notice After About 15 Minutes The Bottle Is Swelling Like Its About To Burst. All That Gas And Carbonation Is Simply To much. You don't like Pepsi better. you're addicted to the extra caffeine it has in it. Truthfully I Like R/C Cola But That's a Area Thing Over Here I Think

o no! don't drink diet! -there is a reason that diabetes is exploding across the world. STOP giving your body fake sugars that it cant break down! Eating/Drinking things with "0" calories = you are killing your self. Take care of your endocrine system. Insulin is good. Pancreas destroying chemicals in soda bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you are worried about putting on pounds because of your eating habbits than don't substitute it with food that has no calories. Eat/drink less soda. (Relentless this is not aimed at you) I just wish everyone was more aware of how our vessels work. These diseases are not natural. They are a result of people poisoning themselves for 4 generations now. Soon enough natural selection will need to take reign of man-kind once again and restor balance. I like pepsi and coke. FTR.... In moderation! Tea.. yum yum yum. Marijuana yum yum yum

I only switched to diet while I was working out. Less calories taken in = easier to burn off extra calories = weight loss/muscle gain.
Since my workout schedule got blown to hell I suppose I could switch back. I like regular a hell of a lot more than diet anyway.

Actually Vash the doctors tell you if your are diabetic(like i am now) that if your are going to drink soda to drink diet, just dont drink alot of it. So it looks like i am going to be drinking more water and less soda. Still have to have my caffenie.

I know that is what they tell you to do. Fake sugars are a big contributor to it in the first place. Same with high fructose drinks. Pepsi uses sugar, coke uses corn syrup. high fructose corn syrup, which has sugars, lets your body break down the calories but does not activate the correct glands to "dispose" of the super high concentration of sugar which slowly destroys your body's way of interacting with sugar all together. You certainly can get diabetes naturally but the last 100 years of food turning into a product vs. fuel for life something has gone terribly wrong. Pepsi for the win. You can't all of the sudden throw in new compounds into an organism's diet after millions of years of natural selection fine tuning us to be perfect machines for earth. Humans changed the cards at hand and now we are all paying the price by feeding each other poison for monetary gain. No one is going to stop them because it will get spun into something it's not. What is good for money is good for the gov. what is bad for the people is good for money. The machine will live on, until we are all morbidly obese cattle people in the year 2055. And at that point the masses of the western world may finally be like "what the frack have we done" we are all fat, useless, there are only 10 other species alive on the planet (which we all eat) our skies are black, our seas our black, china rules the world..... Start a garden. learn karate. Get savy with a weapon and get ready for the world to turn on its head.

Most of us probably assume that if your only beverage choices were diet or regular soda, the diet variety would be better. After all, drinks made with non-nutritive sweeteners do give us fewer calories.
But recent studies indicate that drinking diet soda can lead to our gaining weight. They can raise the A1C levels of those of us who have diabetes. And drinking them is also associated with a greater risk of heart disease.
Participants in an eight-year study at the University of Texas Health Science Center, San Antonio, who drank several cans of diet soda every day were more likely to become overweight or obese than those who drank several regular sodas. Sharon P. Fowler, MPH, and her colleagues reported this finding in abstract 1058-P at the 2005 annual meeting of the American Diabetes Association in San Diego.
Another study, this one in the Annals of Epidemiology last year, found that adults with diabetes who drank one or more drinks of diet soda per day had A1C levels was 0.7 percent higher than those who drank none. That difference is about what we can expect when we start a good new diabetes medication and take it for a year.
Even more disturbing is a study this year in the American Heart Association’s journal, Circulation. After tracking the health of more than 6,000 middle-aged adults, researchers found that those who drank one or more soft drinks – whether diet or regular – had an increased risk for metabolic syndrome compared with those who didn’t drink as many. Metabolic syndrome is a cluster of risk factors for heart disease and diabetes, including high blood pressure, too much fat around the middle, and low levels of good cholesterol.
The soft drink industry primarily uses aspartame (brand name NutraSweet) in its diet drinks. Diet Rite is the biggest selling non-aspartame diet soda brand. It uses a combination of sucralose and acesulfame potassium.
How could these non-nutritive sweeteners possibly be associated with weight gain and the metabolic syndrome? The authors of the Circulation study led by Ravi Dhingra, MD, an instructor in medicine at Harvard Medical School, think that the high level of sweetness “may lead to conditioning for a greater preference for intake of sweetened items.”
That’s controversial. But an even more disturbing mechanism that the authors propose is that, “The caramel content of both regular and diet drinks may be a potential source of advanced glycation end products, which may promote insulin resistance and can be proinflammatory.” I have written several times about the dangers of a high-AGE diet here, especially this article in April.
The American Beverage Association, which represents soft-drink companies, was quick to respond to the Circulation study. The organization’s president, Susan Neely, maintains that, “it is scientifically implausible to suggest that diet soft drinks – a beverage that is 99 percent water – cause weight gain or elevated blood pressure.” ........ read on. the men with the money are practically telling the scientists to shut the frack up "your ruining a good thing" the good thing being a billion dollar industry {soft drinks}

there is waaaaay too much reading involved here,
Did you mention somewhere that when diet coke reaches a certain temperature the chemical compound in the 'sugar' turns back into it's original form (or mutated for, whatever) which is pesticide?
Mmmmm delicious pesticide

My friends dog ate some pesticide lately. yum.
You wanna go for diet? Go with the non-caffeine version. Maybe it does taste like crap, but who is drinking pop/fizzy drinks for taste anyways? You want the various caffeine, sugar, chemicals etc. I'mma stick with milk and bypass this whole debate anyways.
