philosophy with Vashima

OK, first off, I thought it would be a good idea to shed some light on what I have found to be crucial cognitive pathways to lead yo and your squad/clan to victory. To get these points across coherently I am first going to list of the things that make a killer, and then I will mention such ways to do those.

1: MAP MEMORIZATION. -this is absolutely critical to succes. If you are well schooled on every bush, scouting point, and main enemy foot traffic zones you are well on your way to being an ultimate killer.

2: be aware of what makes you a great player. after being able to recognize what it takes to kick ass try to find out ways to eliminate the opertunity for your enemies to do so to you. I find that the the mini-map is a key feature of destroying on MAG. If you can see the enimies on the map and are familiar with the map, then you shouold have no problem slaying those cunts. If you want to up your skills then a huge thing for you to do is MAKE YOURSELF INVISIBLE to the enemy. be sneaky, get network jammers, and for god sakes if your weapon can be silenenced DO IT! I'm telling you, if you want your K/D to sky rocket and your wins to losses to start reflecting the reputation of the clan then get your red dot off the oppositions mini-map and silence that Fu*ki*weapon soldier.

I can garuntee that if everyone makes an effort to memorize maps and in one way or another(preferably more than one way at a time) get your dot off others minimaps you will become a Raven Elite.

I would like this post to also be open for other peoples key tips on being able to rise above the mediocre Mag players.
I can bare witness to the FACT that most DOA players are well within the top 1% of Mag's Best slayers.

Im happy to lay people down using the

HM90, F90 and Apex 100.

I feel most comfortable with the F90 and I'm sure most would agree I'm better with it rather than the other guns (my recent form is testament to that). I do have an HM90 on Standby for taking people out at distance but as I spend skill points on the health and Motion sensor, I only have one fully kitted weapon per respec.

I've mainly been using boomstick. I just looove it. I can use the lmg relatively well so when my boomstick isn't working I just go with Eugene. Those are the only two kits, or variants of them that I use now. I'm thinking of going back to F90 for Dom and Acq though for attacking/planting stuff.

me too. I never waist points on 2 decked out weapons. I just get one maxed out and sexy. fill out my personal boosts and either fo with maxed explosives or gadgets depending on what main weapon I am using.

I respec every couple of days

Well I already have my Boomstick maxed out, so going and maxing out the F90 won't take much of my points anymore.

i guess that would be the exception where they are both in the commando category.

silenced F-90 w/ reflex. motion sensor, F-57, RPG, Advanced Mesh awww yea. I got the shotgun medal and I'm back to the f-90 for good. Though, I may occasionally be going back and forth from the Kp-45 and shotgun because I have really grown a liking to em. Got 60 kills with the kp45 yesterday on a DOM attack match. Some may call it easy mode but you still got to know how to shoot. I try to not waste bullets no matter what gun I'm using.

Last night I ended up getting two PM's from sver clan leaeders saying good match, explaining that DOA is one of the meanest raven clans they have ever fought. Good job guys and keep up the good work.

Ol' Vash's thoughts on yelling at someone for a friendly kill. Let me explain further, this is not to be confused with getting yelled at because you killed someone, but being yelled at because they just TK'd you. If you accidentally Snipe someone, the last person who's fault it is, is the person you just sniped. Crossfire happens, but don't tell me to move after you shoot me in the face. MAG is a fast paced game. Be on the move. If I had a dollar for every time I as shooting someone and a friendly walked into my cross-hairs I would be filthy rich. IF you are just standing statically and firing at enemies and then complaining when you deck one of your moving friendlies in the back and kill him, then it is you who has the issue. Here is an Idea: STOP HOLDING R1 when a friendly walks in front of your gun. IF you want the kill so badly that you can't stop spray and praying for one second then to hell with you. I'd appreciate it if no more DOA members yell at ME when THEY kill me. Thanks. especially when it is by people who were brought into the guild recently by me. Don't bite the hand that feeds. Keep this in mind, respect your mag elders. Nothing more fuking annoying then a kid with 20 hours telling me how to play MAG. If ALex tells me to do something I do it. He has almost twice my hours. I'm going to assume that he has learned a thing or two.

Oh that poor Dom match. I remember it well. You guys were going at it like you were enemies. A simple "Oh shit, sorry man" would have been nice but it was funny to hear you guys yelling at each other.

hahaha, indeed. If I ever knock a brother down I immediately go rez him ,regardless of how dangerous it is, and apologize promptly.

Dead knows full well I'm not one for letting go of the trigger when a friendly strafes in front of my firing line. However you have made the point that if you knock a friendly down, you do your best to go rez him, with a quick "sorry bro". Their is no need for arguing who's fault it is (cause it's ALWAYS going to be the other person, a gamers ego works like that).

Bottom line. You take him down, you get him up!

for sure, thats mainly the point I'm trying to get across. Instead of yelling at a person for getting in your way, just pick him up and that will be that. TBH, it really depends who it is. When a new guy does it to me it seems to set off my temper far more than if it was you or dead.

Well TKS happen i mean i popped dead in the back yesterday during ACQ andi felt bad cause i was a insta bleed TK. But I for one do not have sympathy for someone that walks in front of me already firing when they can see the bullets leaving my gun. If its a clanmate i will say sorry or oh man thats not kewl and then rez you if possible. Blue dots can be a bunch of idiots as when they see blue smoke they run towards it(just ask dead), now if i call out a strike to my clanmates and they still dont get out of there what am i to do other than say sorry man i warned ya.

I am actually happy when I get TK'd. You might think this strange but, usually I'm just about to die anyways. The TK means the enemy didn't get the kill. With the scores we put up on the board I don't think a -5 points will hurt anyone.

I'll remember that and pop you in the back of the head next time I see you surrounded by enemies Dead :] .

I remember that match. I got in late in the game and did horribly for like the 2 min I was in. Felt like I wasn't wearing any armor and was shooting ping pongs.

That was a fun match! Vash, you went all beast-man on those guys!
