WTF?

So, I logged in and got my Mag updated, and I was just going to go into PS store and see if I could dl the new pack, but I can't because it says 'this is not available in your country or region'

Then when I go to change it in Account Management, I get some weird sort of error.

it does that to me every now and then like last night I was trying to get 3 new songs for my rock band and it was giving me errors left and right so Idk I say its the PS Store

sony must be doing something with their servers. Probably getting ready to implament the premium service. LOL like I would pay to play. If that happens I will sue Sony and Playstation for false advertisement. They already have a class action law suite on their hands from getting rid of the other OS from the console.

sony is now going to charge for premium service to their online community. Not sure what the "premium" service will include but a top euopean rep has mentioned this to the populous. Not sure what all it entails, but you can bet I'm not bying it.

Not entirely. Sony are considering offering a premium subscription service for access to entertainment on your PS3, however they are going to continue to have the free online gaming network. I'd imagine they're going to offer premium downloads such as film rentals and stuff (as they do now only rather than ppv its a monthly subscription.)

It's all part of their business model for PS3 dominance as the home multimedia entertainment system.

Hell, if it's like you say Alex, I couldn't care less. Long as they don't start charging for internet and online.

From what I read they won't be. I just googled ti then read up on a couple of sites stories and they were all saying the same thing. All unsure exactly what would be included in a premium service but all sure that the free gaming network would be maintained. Besides as Dead mentioned. It's false advertising if they change to a subscription, as you bought your PS3 with the assurance that it was free to play online. Besides I think it's one of the PS3's biggest selling points.

alex it was the only reason I bought my PS3. If they charged for online play I would have just stuck with my PC gamming. I'm such the cheapo.
