MAG's First Birthday!!!

Our Beloved Massive Action Game has turned 1 year old today.

To celebrate this Zipper has done quite a few things to make it more appealing.

First up, starting Wednesday, January 26 at 12am Pacific Time, they’re changing all in-game queue* and “Happy Hour” bonuses to 256% until Sunday, January 30 at 11:59pm. If you’ve been meaning to level up this promotional time period is a great time to go for it!

Speaking of January 26, all day from 10am-5pm Pacific Time, members of the Zipper Interactive QA team (their best players!) will be online and playing MAG throughout the day. If you’ve never participated in any “Play MAG with Zipper” events, they’re great fun and offer you the perfect opportunity to show them your skills.

The third and final promotion is a special “Faction Neutral” switch for the Domination and Acquisition modes. For the first time ever in MAG “Live,” the two biggest game types will switch from being PMC-specific to being open for defense by any of the three factions. Like our 256% XP bonus, this mode switch will be in operation from January 26 at 12am Pacific to January 30 at 11:59pm.

thats great but they havent fixed the freezing or lag so its still a failure.

I may jump on in the next day or so to see the neutral maps for a bit but thats it i am so disappointed in Zipper.

am i the only one who still appreciates mag and doesnt call everyone lag switchers? only when the game dies i will stop playing

Commander i appreciate what MAG was not what it has become. I tried playing again on a alt the other day and it just wasnt fun anymore.

I have been thinking lately about going for another run through SVER and then quitting forever but i dont know if i can hang in long enough to get 70 lvls while being bored.

yess sir i can agree that it was pretty epic when mag started out. its like an endless grind with no epicness but i can live with that as long there are clanmates to play with.

do what you want to do austin if you dislike playing mag, just dont play it.

Shat, I wish I could play still. Surprised that it's been a year since I started playing and I still suck. So if DOA isn't dominating MAG anymore, whats our next game to do so? Black Ops?

hey, we still dominate......im lucky to rally up at least 8 people from DOA today we had a blast running with friends and other clans too

We used to have over 17 people on most nights, 8 is good but not the domination DOA is used to.

I think just kind of boring now. It was lots of fun at the time of the beta and release. I wonder what our new game will be.

My new game will be Crysis 2, until R3 comes out anyhow.

Killzone3? Resistance3? Section8? Modern Combat domination whatever its called?

I've been playing around in
Garden of Eden Creation Kit™ (GECK) and tweaking the hell out of my Fallout NV. I found a mod to grow and sell weed. Hell Cheech and Chong grow and sell the weed to me. I'm adding a grow room in Lucky 38 right now. Every thing was going just fine then some how the lighting changed and I can't figure it out.

CRYSIS 2 I will have for the PC for sure. Resistance 3 for sure. Dungeon Siege 3 for the PC. If the online is good for the PC games I will get them for the PS3 and jam out with you guys.

Also heard a 2.11 patch in the works

i've also been playing a lot of League of Legends, don't know if anyone else is or if anyone tried it out though.
