| I am now done with mag. I cant take the freexing and the lagging BS that is going on.
I may pick the game back up in a few weeks to see if they fix the problems.
It was fun playing with everyone and i will miss playing with everyone, but i cant take it anymore.
I will keep in touch, and hope they fix the problems. That way i can come back and roll with everyone again.

| MAG 2.0 Bug Fix Patch in Progress Options
10-04-2010 11:58 AM
I just put up a quick post on the MAG blog, but the gist of it is that we've found the causes of the post-2.0 freezes and disconnection issues and are going to get out an update ASAP to address them. Timing is TBD, but hopefully very soon. -------------------- Chris Roper Community Specialist, Zipper Interactive --------------------
And hopefully they make the patch soon

| You guys, I feel the same way. My shit was freezing so much, nearly every match. I have taken a hiatus from Mag until these issues are fixed. This is why I haven't been on much over the last few days. But no worries, I'm DOA in any game I play which in this case is a return to RDR so if any of you want to posse up let me know. I'll be back in MAG when Zip fixes their game, until then I probably won't be playing it much. | |

| You guys are going to make me play MW2. Ugg. I like R2 for the 30 on 30 team death matches. Does MW2 have that?
Yesterday I was playing some co-op with randoms in R2 and I got hate mail. lol I played as the medic in Orick and came in 1st place with 10,000 more points than 2nd place.

| I can stand MW2 for all of half a round before having to move to a game that isn't broken. Still like Spec Ops though.
Since quite a few of us are waiting for Zipper to fix MAG, it's be nice to get some R2 rounds in. I would love to play some rounds with a good team, whether we play co-op or competitive.

It's actually the opposite for me. Sometimes MW2 disgusts me, but I hate Spec Ops even more. I would play R2, but I don't have it, so yeah. I do have Red Faction if anyone else does though.

| What would you guys say to a temporary promotion to most all DOA members? I was thinking that this would help recruit more people into DOA and build our MAG base. | |

| I wouldn't totally object however I would put a limit on it. Ie. Anyone who is online AND joins our group. There is little to no point of promoting peeps that aren't ever online or those that don't group up. What sort of message would that send? | |

| Ehh, I know and get the point of doing this, but to me this just is inviting stupid scrubs into our clan. If we were going to do this I would either do it after Escalation comes out or let it run till Escalation comes out. I wouldn't really want to do this anyways, DOA is bringing in members fine and doing this only makes DOA look 'weak'. /opinion | |

| Well i think some of the problem is we have gotten a little lax on who gets in just to boost numbers. We need to get more killers in the clan as we have plenty of jack of all trades guys.
Anyway i am coming back slowly and it seems to have helped to take some time off so heres to seeing you all in game again.

| I'm with Alex and Kealan on this one Dead.
Group promoting ppl for the sole purpose of keeping/possibly recruiting new members isnt going to help any. And it certainly wont help our image.
I'm not an officer, and would most likely be included in this mass promotion as i always group and whatnot, but that's not what i was looking for when i joined this clan. I'm looking for structure and a group of guys/gals who know what the hell they're doing, and how to group/play together.
The officers in place are doing a great job. There really is no need for more of them. What needs to change is the new guys not following the damn rules.
I sometimes see alot of ppl online, yet the ones grouping up together are always the same ones. New guys are always off on their lonesome, and dont reply to messages to back out of games. I'm no officer, yet i send these guys messages to back out and group up with us all the time, but usually never get an answer back.
I believe you should add another rule, being: TURN ON F-ING MESSAGE NOTIFICATIONS!
THIS WAY, your sorry ass can see us messaging you to back the f*ck out.
EDIT: While we're at it, add this other rule too: JOIN THE F-ING CHATROOM WHEN PLAYING MAG.

| I remember someone saying we could merge with AOD. I'm pretty sure that got shot out of the water, but what about recreating ravens super clan OPS? I don't know how it worked out the beta, since I kinda stopped playing it, so I don't know how people liked it or not.
And if that doesn't fly I have to go with what Alex said.

And if that doesn't fly I have to go with what Alex said. OPS was five or more DOA and one or two others. LOL @ Matt_and_Rox You should have been promoted to officer. Most of the new guys that have come to DOA are not grouping and some of those guys are noobs. We do need more heavy hitters. That is why I promoted 5 to 7 guys whom I feel play a lot. These individuals can now send clan invites to people they feel are good enough to be DOA. If these new guys are not following the rules then they should be kicked after playing message tag with them. I had kicked out about 5 guys since I last played day after day. One even txt'd me and asked why. I asked him if he grouped up every time. He said yes and I laughed as I know he was not joining the groups. Groups are the most important part of the clan. I cannot stress this enough. If your not going to play with the clan like say Pitsnipe then your out. Good or bad your just out.

I'm glad you think well of me, although as mentioned, occupying an officer position just isnt for me. At least not right now. I was a top officer in my old clan GSF/DG and didnt get along too well with our fearless leader. I'm a very opinionated person, and some of those opinions just seems to clash with his ideals. The last thing i want is to cause any more shit in my new clan, so i'm content with just following the rules for now. Not to mention i'm just not as active as i could be right now, what with renovations going on at the house and buying a new PC & Wii. And with MAG 2.0 being a complete peice of crap right now, i really feel no need to waste any of my time on it until they fix it/screw something else up. Just one question though, do your officers in game also have the ability to kick members off the website? If not, kicking them in game, but leaving them active on the forum boards might cause some confusion. This is one of the issues we had in the GSF. F*cktard leader wouldnt give access to anyone but himself to kick ppl from the forums. So after a guy would get kicked in game, he'd come bitch about it on the boards, and another officer would let the guy back in and then start shit with the officer who kicked him and so on and so forth. What a clusterf*ck. Anywho ... adding those 2 other rules might add to having members pay f*cking attention a bit more to messaging. Yes it's a bitch having that message pop up in your mini-map, but suck it up princess. Thems the breaks. And having to join the chatroom will also give you an idea of how many ppl are playing MAG in the clan even before you load up the game.

| When i finally hit bloody raven again i'll see if the clan i've been running with 1V1 is much the same, not specific "rules" as such in the clan but everyone hammers the Medic gun, works together as a team, and generally kicks some arse quite well! Few Aussie lads started but now i think a few about the shop play | |

My first clan on mag was gsf. I feel the same about that leader. I think that I actually remember seeing you as a recruit. But then I got kicked.
