2.0 freezing

i have froze 2 times in less than 5 minutes tonight so i am taking a break from MAG for about a week til they give us patch 2.01 to fix the problems that is going on.

Yeah man, I want to get back on MAG, but Zipper isn't giving me any good reason to come back. They either increase lag or have more frequent freezing.

From what I saw while I was watching a friend play earlier the new knife is terrible as well. We were joking around while knifing people yelling "stop so I can stab you with these T-rex arms!" At least it's more consistent.

Yeah I froze up last night myself. Just as we went into the interdiction match. I just turned it off.

Currently not on MAG due to the release of Fifa 11 and CIVILIZATION 5, both are very time consuming. Anyway it seems MAG has some issues??

So now that I'm working night shift it seems like I end up playing with randoms more than DOA, however I did talk to a few guys who were discussing the difference between the new PS3 consoles and the old ones with regards to freezing. I don't know how accurate this is but they were saying that the old models did not have the same problems with freezing and lag times that that new slims did. I've got an original 60gig and I don't seem to have any real problems with games being dropped. Of the few games that I've had freeze on me it seems that the entire group gets dropped as well. As for the Lag on the old systems I've been run over by vehicles in DOM at the same time I was arming an objective so... that problem isn't exclusive to the slims. Just out of curiosity how many people are having major problems with the slims? I had actually planned to upgrade now that you can purchase movies on the PS3, but if they are having problems then I don't know...

I've got a fatboy and my game freezes nearly every match. It has made the game unplayable for me. The freezing is BULLSH!T! If they don't fix this soon this game is dead.

I haven't noticed more freezing than normal, but what's killed MAG for me is how shit the guns are. Am I really using the F90? No, cause it takes a whole clip and 5 seconds of u-intterupted firing to kill a prick. Shotgun is well, weirdly beast and so is Eugene, though not as much as the shotty, but seriously, give me my frack new guns. I want the frack Gotha. >.>

The reload speed is pissing me off too.

the feezing has been been happeneing to me almost everytime in big maps like aquisition and domination. sabo has been fine though..

Freezing = everyone else is frozen but you can run around for a bit shooting, hitting (but not killing) untill you get booted from the server??

If so then yes, it happened to me today as well, what a piece of shit, nothing like this ever used to happen before they started piss fartin' around with it

You're just getting disconnected from the server, freezing is where you game just stops and you need to completely reboot your system to do anything.

Any change on the freezing? I decided I'll be playing MAG againonce this issue is resolved.
Next week I am (if the sellers info is correct that is) getting 2 machine gun move attachments, so I'll be one hell of a living room warrior. And if it is shit I'll just grab the DS3 and play normally LOL. Anyway any news?

So I though I would put MAG in today. Not 2 minutes into the game and Dr. Freeze showed up and now MAG is back out of my PS3.

On a lighter note they are installing 2.01 tomorrow to fix the freezing issue.

They would put that update out the day after I get DR2. Now I want to play DR2 through a few times.

LAG LAG LAG in every game mode... I swear I'm going to go wireless w/ my new slim cause MAG has killed both my other PS3 60Gbwc and a 20G

I've been enjoying DR2 as well. The psychos/bosses can be pretty cheap but it's pretty fun.
