Everyone here at Zipper Interactive is extremely proud to announce that our next downloadable MAG update, MAG 2.0, is not only our biggest and most important patch yet, but also one that’s less than a month away!
That’s right! All the feedback and suggestions you’ve made from countless hours spent playing our new MAG Beta program will pay off in the retail version of MAG in a very big way. We’re calling it “MAG 2.0″ for a reason and it’s because of the sheer number of fantastic new additions, including:
* PlayStation Move support * An increased level cap that goes to level 70 * A revamped Skill Tree that allows for the deepest character customization and specialization ever found in a first-person shooter * A brand-new in-game economy that lets you earn credits to spend on weapons and items from the also-new “Supply Depot” * Our useful “Clan Deploy” feature that enables clan leaders and officers to queue up to 128 of their fellow clan members into a single game * A “MAG News” page that brings players up to date on all the latest happenings the moment they log in * A multitude of updates that refine existing weapons, maps, and vehicles * Important bug fixes and other enhancements that streamline the overall experience
We’ll have specifics as to what else is in the MAG 2.0 patch as we near its release. Oh, and before we go, don’t forget to keep an eye out for additional news in the near future regarding our next DLC pack, which includes our upcoming Escalation game-type and nine all-new weapons.

This is great news. We will have an easier time grouping up and That my friends is great news. If I remember a zip line where they said that if you Q 2 clans at the same time you will end up in the same game just like with what we do already. That my friend is clan wars!!!!!
Dunurmom needs to do some serious beasting and get his ass back to Raven already. Lets make sure that he gets his officer status when he makes it back.
How I see clan wars working is have the enemy invited to our DOA chat room. If they have an invite to Q sync with us then they can't bash us. I believe we have plenty of officers so that a game should be running anytime your on. Make sure you group into the same clan deploy. If you have not checked this out you will need to before they shut off the beta. You don't need an invite to enter the clan deploy or group any more. This is the next best thing since buttered toast. We should here everyone in the group and the squads are interchangeable. Web will never have to run 2 squads again. We can all go in one big ass group.

| Oh yes, only a month away. My life has been sucked into MW2, I must escape from the prison and start playing MAG again. Defensive_Tackle needs to get his ass back to MAG to. I look forward to finally playing with Dunurmom come 2.0 so he better get his ass back here too! | |

| I'm just hoping that Zipper will fix some of the lag that's going on. It's among the top reasons why I'm not playing anymore, next to stale maps. I can put up with the maps it's the lag that tends to get to me. | |

| I believe the lag will stop when the beta stops. I too am sick and tired of the lag in this game myself. | |

| Bloody hell yep i hear ya, was supposed todo a pisstin this weekend but the weather was quite fantastic so it didn't happern, don't wanna have to climb an extra 10lvl's to piss off outta sver though!
Bloody work contracts been cutting into the time, should hopefully smash it out this coming week, lvl 55 now i think, should be able to pass over by next weekend. | |

| I for one have changed my mind about the beta. I now cant wait for this to hit retail. I even look forward to paying the 10bucks for esclation and the new weapons.
The beta is now a beta and not a alpha test. The guns actually work and kill and the speed knifing is nerfed, but the knife i think is better in beta than retail.
NO LAG in beta. Seems like zipper gave the beta the better servers.

| when you have just 300 players on there shouldn't be much lag. LOL
Yes the beta is the shit now. If you don't have it get it. This is the last week for it and you should all come check it out. Get to know the new face of MAG. | |

| Have to agree with Austin and Dead, played with them yesterday and although I am still not sure regarding the weapon damage buffs, I do agree it feels quite solid - clan deploy worked like a charm as well!!!! | |

| I am really excited about 2.0, the clan deploy alone will solve so many of DOA's grouping issues. The gun damage buff is perfect IMO and the skill/supply depot are outstanding. This is what MAG should've had all along! | |
