He is no noob to MAG and is an alright leader and killer but just an all around team mate to have with you.

That seems pretty accurate to me. Great team mate. I haven't played with him much, but I think he could make an alright officer too.

I think we should keep expanding officers as we get new members and if someone is good enough to be an officer, we should give it to them. Just saying. If they deserve to be promoted they should be.

I played a few games with him while I was working my way out of Valor, he's good. Judging by the few games I played with him he likes to cuss at the person who killed him to a point where it gets pretty funny.

Yeah he can be a little vocal but so can we all. at least hes not another racing. Anyway played with him some and seems to be a good person to have on your side.

Played in the same group with him yesterday and he did good.

One general point to mention though, we should watch out for getting merely killers in the group. I had 2 games yesterday which were quite boring for me as I was the only one in our squad repairing the turret and the backside of the base as well. The rest of the group was trying to redline all the time. We need to have some support guys out there or at least people switching to repairs when necessary.

DOA never cares about a turret. We don't use the silly things. Just take a look at our top killers in the clan and you will notice we don't even have 1000 kills with the thing yet.

Now a good squad leader will and should take a look at his men and see who has a repair tool on them. Then he/she should say hey austin and millions can you guys fall back and get that mortar back up? I'll have it fragoed by the time you get their. Now even you as just a grunt can always ask for help. But you must know your guys and who to ask. You will not be likely to get Sly to help you out for the most part but jeff will be right there when you ask him.

Don't get me wrong Sly is a great member of DOA but this is not the role he is best used for and I'm not saying he wont help you. I'm just saying it's not likely for him to fall back from the front lines where he is most needed.

This is why you must always play with the clan. So you can get to know everyone and what they are good at. Know the roles they play and use them to their best ability. Gor__Gor will run to another platoon to help them out and so will a few other DOA members. They will do this without hesitation.

This is also a reason I felt your promotion to officer was premature but you were right. We do need more GMT officers.

seems like a killer to me. We have plenty of guys who will repair when necisary. there have been plenty of times when dead and I have gotten the whole front lines up together by both being repair-killers. He had a sensor jammer. I had the motion sensor. The more you play with us the more you will learn who has whay in their load-outs. this will help everyone play better as a team.

Yup the more you play with peeps the more you know their style and the better you can work as a team.

As for Sly he is a killer and if u need someone crazy enough to go spawn camp or just try something stupid up front he will be there all day.

As for Pitsnipe i have no probs with him.

Ok, one thing. He has TK'd me pretty much every time I've played w/him. Not a big deal but dude needs to check his fire.

pitsnipe, along with other newer members, are making it extremely difficult to form groups. We can not have these members continuously decide to group with old clan mates over DOA. If you want to keep your foot halfway in the door go find another clan. As of late, there are way too many people fuking up on standard procedur.

I have noticed a few clan members on who where playing by themselves. [HAM] are very cool people BTW. It's where garmug and smasher are from but, I have known them longer in R2 Spooner Street and is why they will always be DOA.

Pitsnipe also came from them. He like our clan better and he switched. I think he had just got the game. We need him to at least Q sync with us from time to time. Or yes go back to the other Clan. No biggee.

We also need to get them to join the chatroom before they jump into a game. Lets make sure they have invites to it and every time you see him on, send him/they invites to it.

Pitsnipe is great in my book - definite DOA material.

As to Garmug - several times not grouping up - stating he was in a group already. No real point being in DOA then, although I don't have problems with it, just stating my experience here.

garmug groups up all the time, never had a problem with him if i sent a invite or message. Plus he smasher,pit,silent all came from another clan they have friends on that have grouped with us as well. So i see no problem.

Haven't hold a whole lot of problems with Garmug, Smasher is amazing and while I haven't played with Pit much, I think he's quite good. We shouldn't really have any problems with grouping up with others, cause I group up with AoD and PHI quite a bit. Bartalbeel groups up with us quite a bit too, so it works both ways.

I don't mind if they want to roll with their other friends, sometimes it makes it easier for us. I think the problem some are experiencing is when it's only 4 DOA on and 3 are grouped with the other clan, kinda leaves the 1 member feeling left out.

yeah well the other 3 should invite the last doa in to their group, or go back to the other clan. Thats IMO. i dont care if u play with other friends but dont leave you clanmates out in the wind.

I was thinking about this the last time I was on. He is always grouped with smash and garmug so he does group. Let him be for now. He has sent me invites as well so I'm not worried. I would rather play with you guys anyway. LOL

Lets see what happens when Lisa vets is all. They play well with each other and he is putting our Tag out there.

@ murder. exactly. There have been multiple times that bstory and I get on and there are 5 DOA on (including us) and the are in a full group leaving the 2 of us to play alone.

@dead I feel you on them getting our clan tag out there, but from my experience with them, they are probably getting it out in a way that says "hey we are doa, we get purple hearts and lose" I know we all get them sometimes and lose sometimes as well, but I'm sure every one has noticed their 200-300 purple hearts and >100 grims. All in all they are cool guys. I enjoy dinkin' around with them. We generally don't win win I play with them, and I usally get Tk'd by them per match. Pitsnipe needs to switch to smoke matrix. I know it seems petty, but it's one of the few things that we do here that is uniform. It's an easy rule to follow and he knows damn well that he isnt' following it because I have alerted him about it on numerous occasions. I'm down for the democratic decision. If it was solely up to me I would boot their ass's. From my perspective they are taking advantage of us being polite and actually don't give a shit about the hardwork we have ALL put into our rep and status.

Vash as a guy with almost 200 purple hearts( getting close to the 300 grims though) i dont mind the guys around me getting their purple heart. Just as long as they are rezing me into another death. The more they die the more i know where the red dots are and how to approach the situation.

I think we shouldn't make DOA purely about having amazing killing skills, or leadership, or medic/points. Ultimately DOA is about teamwork and comradeship, not about putting up amazing stats; and I think that's how it should stay. While I myself don't mind being competitive, some people just want to be in DOA to have fun, make friends and enjoy the game, and I respect that.
